Eric Gordon and the Phoenix Suns have agreed to a maximum four-year, $58 million offer sheet.
The Hornets are expected to match. Chris Broussard of ESPN said he spoke with Gordon and Gordon said:
“I strongly feel (the Suns) are the right franchise for me,” said Gordon. “Phoenix is just where my heart is.”
The Hornets coach Monty Williams really likes Eric Gordon, but after those comments you just have to wonder if New Orleans will match the contract.
