Andy Dalton went 8 of 19 for 86 yards and 2 ints- yes, he looks like a rookie. I will say this; he looks good while moving in the pocket, but still looks a little nervous overall. If the offensive line keeps protecting him the way they did against the Jets, then I feel he’ll be ok.

The Wideouts Simpson, Green, Shipley and Caldwell seem to be a solid group. Although 5 dropped passes in the first half can say different, they still look as if they will be solid. There were a couple of plays where they got open by running clean routes and were overlooked or overthrown. The main thing I love about the group is the intensity and the down field blocking.

The Defense: I remember the Bengals having one of the top defenses a few years ago and, if this team wants to be over 500, then they will have to be a top defense again. They looked good against the Jets and this guy Michael Johnson is a beast. If the D stays solid, the Bengals will get some W
