I remember I wrote about this topic a few years back(click here to read it) trying to figure out how professional athletes would respond if they found out they had a gay teammate. Surprisingly, many athletes have been coming forward as of late and saying that they wouldn’t have an issue with an openly gay person in their sport. The most recent athlete to stand up for gay rights is UFC fighter Rashad Evans. Evans issued a statement to outsports.com saying:
