There’s not much that excites me more than seeing Asia Durr dribble up the court. However, the thought of seeing her dribbling up the court in Barclay’s center is now added to the list.
The New York liberty announced that they will now be playing in Brooklyn, New York and leaving their home for the past two years in Westchester.
David Levy, The CEO of the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center, spoke on the move.
“We are committed to the Liberty’s long-term success in New York and relocating the team to Brooklyn will provide the franchise with tremendous opportunity,”
The Liberty will keep their name and logo. This is a fresh start for one of the most popular franchises in the WNBA and from the post on the internet their fan base is pretty thrilled about the move.
