The WNBA is having one of the most lit, rumor and drama filled off-seasons in a while and, to be honest, most of it is centered around one team. The Los Angeles Sparks have been linked to trading for one of the best players in the league in Liz Cambage before the draft, but have been one of the mot solid teams on paper since then.

On draft day, L.A. landed Kalani brown after she lead her Baylor Bears to an NCAA Championship. They then followed that up by what many thought was a salary-clearing move for Cambage when they traded Odyssey Sims for Alexis Jones.

Many thought the next move for the Sparks would be a deal with the Dallas Wings, but in typical Hollywood fashion the team in Los Angeles changes the script of the movie.

On April 27th, it was announced that the team had made a deal with the Connecticut Sun to land Chiney Ogwumike to team with her sister Nneka.

Yes, I agree with the rest of you, this team is loaded. However, I want to know what is next. Will the Sparks make anymore moves? Where will Cambage end up ? How did it only take a first round pick to pry Ogwumike away from the Sun?

The WNBA season is a few weeks away and I, like many, am glued to this team in Los Angeles to see how this Hollywood story line will end.
