Just had a chance to watch my first full preseason game which was between the Saints and 49ers. I’ll start by saying this, you have to be a true fan of a team to watch a game that slow and boring. With that being said one of the only things I got from watching the 49ers is that they need a lot of help. Now for the Saints, I was impressed with their defense. From the D-line, to the linebackers and the secondary, the defense looks solid. Greg Williams will have some tough decisions to make because his first, second and third strings came to play.
The offense on the other hand, not so much. Drew Brees looked out of sync. Maybe it’s because he has to adjust to his new center but hey they have three weeks to fix whatever the problem is. Speaking of offensive line, I really hope these guys play better during the season.
I’m just a fan writing about his team and so far I’m happy with what I’ve seen from them. One preseason game down, three more to go.
