Just last year, 4 star recruit Derrick Griffin had universities such as Texas A&M, Auburn and Miami all fighting to get his signature on the dotted line. While the Hurricanes won that fight, today Texas Southern won the battle. The Rosenberg Terry High School standout receiver has reportedly enrolled in class at TSU and is planning to play the 2015 season, which means Homer Causey will have a brand new 6’7 target on his team.
Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reported that the change was made because of academic ineligibility but also says Griffin was able to enroll because of TSU
