Texas Southern University’s inner conference game vs SWAC rival Southern Jaguars has been moved from November 2nd to November 1st. The games start time is at 8:00 pm.
The reason for the change is because there was a possible conflict with Major League Soccer. The Houston Dynamo had that date set as a potential home playoff date. TSU decided to move the game to Friday to better accommodate the fans.
“It was a better option than moving it to a Thursday night because it gives the fans in Houston an opportunity to finish out their work week and come to the game, and it will eliminate a two-day turn-around off work for fans traveling from Baton Rouge,” said athletics director Dr. Charles McClelland. “Hopefully our decision works best for all parties involved.”
