Now imagine that 5\u20196 baller being available in the second round of the draft. That\u2019s what happened when the Connecticut Sun drafted Alexis Morris out of LSU with the 22<sup>nd<\/sup> pick in the WNBA Draft. Morris was one of my favorite players coming out of college. \u00a0Not because of the 15 ppg or the 4.1 assists per game, but because of everything else she brings to the game<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Alexis Morris: 27 points in LSU&#039;s comeback Final Four win\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TJ4GDEn9YHI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0She has the heart to be a leader, the ear to listen to those that\u2019s helping her lead and the fact that she is clutch and can knock down that shot at the buzzer or put her teammates in the right place to where they can do the same. Alexis Morris is a champion and one of the players that I personally believe will shine in the WNBA from this year\u2019s draft class if given the opportunity.
