What is she? Is she a center? Is she a guard? Nah, she’s one of the greatest to ever touch a basketball court. I am the guy that, when in barbershops having the GOAT conversation, would have to throw in the name Candace Parker. While she may never get the credit for doing so, I feel the majority of NBA players today can see their game as a mirror to what Parker did on the court.
With the announcement of her retirement, I just want to say thank you for what you did for women’s college basketball, the WNBA, the NBA, and sports in general. You are my GOAT, and again, I want to thank you Candace Parker for opening the eyes of so many who enjoy the sport today.”
